Ways To Help

The Friends of Dickinson Square are a dedicated group who volunteer diligently in many ways to benefit Dickinson Square Park.  We gladly volunteer every Saturday morning to do a quick pickup of litter, dog poo, and leaves.  We have written and received many grants that benefit the park. The Activities Grant that we have received three years in a row supports our workshops and events.  Philadelphia Green Grant was also received three years in a row help to fund most of the greening projects and some events. 

Our biggest grant that we received recently is for $600,000.  Thanks to the efforts of the Recreation Department and the State (DCNR) we are now in the process of implementing the Master Plan that was created by the CDC and the Friends.

Come see one of our projects "the Green Wall"(west side of the Parsons building) that is now in the works and should be completed in November.

We have several opportunities for you to help and join our efforts:

CLEANUPS

We welcome anyone who wants to join us every Saturday morning (weather permitting) at 9AM for a quick cleanup of the park.

DONATIONS

INK CARTRIDGES
